Dear Friends,
You know that dream in your heart. The one you try to stuff away because there is just no way it can happen. You don’t have enough time or money or resources or knowledge or connections to see it come true.
Well, hold on tight to it. Sit on it for a season if you must. Sometimes dreams need time to marinate, we need time to mature, our skills need time to develop. Time isn’t a bad thing when it comes to a dream. But hold on tight. Don’t let it go.
I had a dream when I was 11. So many times I’ve wanted to let it go. It’s too hard, too far off, too “something” but some how I kept a hold of it tightly. I shared it often with Jesus.
On the days when I wanted to give up – I shared it with Jesus.
On the days when I was/am completely insecure that I can bring the dream to life – I share it with Jesus.
On the days when I’m quite possibly failing – I share it with Jesus.
Because the secret to keeping a dream alive is to share/trust it with the one who knows.
So whatever your dream is, hold on tightly. Your dream is not forgotten, your timing just might not be here. Learn all you can about yourself, your strengths your flaws in the meantime. And share it with Jesus.
